Kenchi’s special guest this month on the Frequency23 podcast is Alesia Matson,
whom you may already know as Toxickmuse from Frequency23.

Alesia is one of the co-founders of “Reasons to Say Yes,” a working group in northern California hosting adult events that are on the cutting edge for healthy, consensual sexuality.

Having seen that fear is the driving force behind most pressures to conform, R2SY decided early on that its mission was to help others achieve freedom from their fears — fear of one another, fear of intimacy, fear of rejection, fear of acceptance — as well as freedom to live, love, and evolve as one chooses. Given that sex is such a powerfully catalyzing force in addition to being one of the most repressed and misunderstood activities known to humanity, it seemed obvious for them to combine the two and use sex-positive events to allow others to face and conquer their fears surrounding it. Seeing the sexual and the sacred as two aspects of the same thing, her ordination by Church of the New Renaissance and advanced degree in divinity for her work in modern mysticism and comparative symbolism formed the basis for her interest in sex and sex magick as tools for personal and cultural evolution. You can learn more about “Reasons to Say Yes” online by searching on the words with your favorite search engine, then clicking on the link to their website. There you’ll find a list of their upcoming events and a lot more. You can also find her at http://toxickmuse.blogspot.com. Music for this show by Pythriddle.
