The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, a short season Single-A team here in Salem, Oregon, put up impressive stats all season long - including winning 75% of their games and claiming their second consecutive league championship! The SF Giants farm system club also won their division by 19.5 games, led the league in batting by 17 points (.289) and led the league in ERA by more than half a run (3.40). They led the league in runs, hits, homers and fewest strikeouts and most shutouts.
