- Class of 2008
Sun, 15 Jun 2008 18:34:25 +0000
The last couple Father’s Days I’ve highlighted other father bloggers. This year I’m going to break from the mini-tradition and talk about how proud I was as a father this past week. Our oldest (pictured right) graduated from high school on Tuesday night. My dad flew out from Arizona to witness the glorious event too. [...] - 275 out of 290 stars on Rock Band Endless Setlist EXPERT difficulty
Sun, 13 Jan 2008 20:29:39 +0000
I captured some HD video of our sons completing the hardest and longest set of songs on Rock Band for the Xbox 360 on the expert difficulty setting. The Endless Setlist which contains 58 songs took them 3+ hours to complete and out of a possible 290 stars (5 stars possible on each song) they [...] - Mogulus demo
Thu, 03 Jan 2008 23:33:18 +0000
I’m testing Mogulus with this post through a demo Hmmcast Live channel. It’s a live video with chat service (pictured above). You can view it below live, maybe, if I’m still broadcasting live when you read this. One of the things that I like about this service is that it’s easy to setup. I set everything [...] - Anti-theft game packaging workout

As of this writing I’m up to 11 widgets cycling in my Chumby: weather forecast, horoscope, stock quotes, word of the day, this day in history, IMDb died today, Rotten Tomatoes reviews, recent Chumby widgets, Google News - Tech, daily countdown to Van Halen concert and the default blue clock. Chumby Unboxed And Unpacked In [...] - Peeling out with Rotato
Thu, 08 Nov 2007 04:50:57 +0000
Anybody reading really like peeling fruits and vegetables by hand? This is a job destined for machines. When I first spotted Rotato in the store I thought: hey, that looks like a lot easier way of peeling potatoes, fruit and vegetables. And at less than $9 at Wal-mart, it seemed worth a try. The only assembly [...] - Siren HD harpies
Thu, 04 Oct 2007 01:36:44 +0000
Click To Play Hmmcast #175 (download links at bottom of post) Scary Google search fact: searching for harpies, results in a sponsored link result for herpes. Searching Live and the spiffy new Yahoo search do not offer a similarly creepy sponsored result. What are harpies? In Greek mythology, Encyclopedia Mythica?: Harpies were described as beautiful, winged maidens. Later [...] - Tablet PC users will like Sketchcast for non-commercial usage
Mon, 24 Sep 2007 16:27:33 +0000
The first thing I thought of was the Tablet PC when I saw Sketchcast as a delicious popular post in my RSS reader this morning. With Sketchcast you can share drawings with or without voice all through a pen-friendly Flash interface in the browser (Firefox or IE). I made a mockup of Hmmcast #174 entirely [...] - Learn the basics of a foreign language for free online
Fri, 21 Sep 2007 23:20:53 +0000
There are two languages that would come in handy if you live in the United States and like to travel to neighboring countries: French (for Montreal and Quebec, Canada) and Spanish (Mexico). Our middle son is currently taking Spanish and when I saw the language learning site trymango.com this morning, he was the first person [...] - Warhawk for the PS3
Wed, 12 Sep 2007 23:20:44 +0000
Some may think Warhawk is a Halo wannabe, but there are some interesting elements that lend to different strategies by being able to pilot an airplane. Take your fight to the air or keep it on the ground. It’s kind of fun sending missiles after people on the ground. Once Halo 3 comes out in [...]
