Heat stroke
What is heat stroke?
Heat stroke is the most severe form of heat illness and is a life-threatening emergency. It is the result of long, extreme exposure to the sun, in which a person does not sweat enough to lower body temperature. The elderly, infants, persons who work outdoors and those on certain types of medications are most susceptible to heat stroke. It is a condition that develops rapidly and requires immediate medical treatment.
What causes heat stroke?
Our bodies produce a tremendous amount of internal heat and we normally cool ourselves by sweating and radiating heat through the skin. However, in certain circumstances, such as extreme heat, high humidity or vigorous activity in the hot sun, this cooling system may begin to fail, allowing heat to build up to dangerous levels.
If a person becomes dehydrated and can not sweat enough to cool their body, their internal temperature may rise to dangerously high levels, causing heat stroke.

Biotin, one of the B Vitamins, has been noted for alleviating fatigue because of the crucial role it plays in the production of energy within our bodies. More specifically, it does this by helping our bodies utilize glucose (which is our primary source of "fuel").
Another fatigue fighting vitamin is Vitamin B12. The reason it may be effective for increasing energy is because it's a vital nutrient for the formation of red blood cells. Red blood cells, in turn, are linked to our energy levels.
Folic Acid, yet another B Vitamin, has also been associated with an ability to increase energy levels.
Gingko Biloba--this nutrient is famous for increasing mental acuity, but did you know it can also increase your energy?
Folic Acid should not be taken unless the very rare condition of "pernicious anemia" is ruled out first by a physician. Folic acid can mask symptoms of Vitamin B12 deficiency, which can lead to some serious problems, such as nerve damage. That's why many experts on nutritional supplements always advise that Folic Acid be taken together with Vitamin B12.
Licorice : Helping to balance energy levels and manage stress. Do not use if you suffer from high blood pressure or heart disease.

Importance of good food:
a diet high in sugar and saturated fats can cause low energy
