Koverage WonderCon 1.0: The first episode from our visit to WonderCon 2006 in San Francisco, CA. New Line Cinema had a booth on the floor of the WonderCon convention, promoting their new flick, "Running Scared." And, no, despite the trash heap of remakes that Hollywood has crammed down our throats recently, this is not one of them. Instead, it's another H-Town 'bait-and-switch': you think you're getting an action movie along the lines of "Gone In 60 Seconds"? Nope. How about a senseless, confusing, jumbled mess with a 15-minute long scene about a married couple that takes sexual pleasure from coercing children into having sex on camera and then butchering their bodies. Sounds awesome, right? Yeah, we figure New Line has a ton of Hobbit money that they're willing to burn. - Koverage - Episode 05.9
