There were a total of 10 performances by selected award nominees as well as 2 musical tributes to the late Doug Riley, this year?s lifetime achievement award recipient.
21 Awards were handed out and some might say it was a good night to be Tim Chaisson, who won 5 awards including Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. Other multiple award winners include Two Hours Traffic, Rose Cousins, Cynthia MacLeod and Saddle River String Band with 2 wins each. Read on for a complete list of winners.
- Voting Begins for 2007 Music PEI Awards
Wed, 17 Oct 2007 16:26:23 -0300Online voting polls are now open and voting has begun for the 2007 Music PEI Awards. There are a total of 17 categories activated this year in which the membership can cast their vote. There are an additional 2 categories open to the public that can be voted on via local radio stations Ocean 100 and K-Rock 105.5 websites, www.ocean100.com and www.krock1055.com. The online voting polls will remain open until 11:59pm on October 31st for the member ballots but the public voting will continue until November 5th at 11:59pm.

Tue, 18 Sep 2007 18:12:55 -0300A water main to the Atlantic Veterinary College building was struck by an excavator this afternoon, filling a giant hole with water and forcing Charlottetown Public Works Department to shut off water to campus. The hole was being dug as part of the second phase of the AVC expansion.
