Hour one: It's Wednesday Madness and Lonny Paul from CompUSA stops in to tell us about Pink Thursday! As Black Friday is typically a self-serving day for retailers to try and make as much money as possible, CompUSA and TigerDirect are branding November 28 as "Pink Friday" for the second year in a row and expect to raise more than $250,000 from a portion of total sales and from customer donations to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world's largest breast cancer organization. They donated more than $200,000 to the foundation during Pink Friday last year! In addition to a minimum guaranteed donation from CompUSA and TigerDirect, customers can get involved in the following ways: Customers will have the opportunity to donate $1, $5, $10 or $20 on top of their in-store or on-site purchase to Komen for the Cure. A live webcast will be available on www.CompUSA.com and www.TigerDirect.com from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. in which limited quantities of products will be sold at 50 percent off their list price, with the full proceeds of the sale products going directly to Komen. In addition to the website where the webcast will feature product reviews, an interactive Q/A with audience, how-to tips and more, the Pink Friday drive will take place at CompUSA's 24 retail locations throughout the country and Puerto Rico. Hour two: Wednesday Madness continues as Craig and Carey read and address your emails and play your voicemails and talk about what's new in tech news.
