- The Lost Gospels
Thu, 04 Sep 2008 19:59:00 +0000 Author: noreply@blogger.com (Jayo)
Anglican priest Peter Owen Jones explores the huge number of ancient Christian texts that didn?t make it into the New Testament.
Shocking and challenging, these were works in which Jesus didn?t die, took revenge on his enemies and kissed Mary Magdalene on the mouth. Pete travels through Egypt and the former Roman Empire looking at the evidence of a Christian world very different to the one we know, and finds over seventy gospels, acts, letters and apocalypses all circulating in the early Church - Conspiracy of Silence

?Conspiracy of Silence?, a documentary listed for viewing in TV Guide Magazine was to be aired on the Discovery Channel, on May 3, 1994. This documentary exposed a network of religious leaders and Washington politicians who flew children to Washington D.C. for sex orgies.
Many children suffered the indignity of wearing nothing but their underwear and a number displayed on a piece of cardboard hanging from their necks when being auctioned off to foreigners in Las Vegas, Nevada and Toronto, Canada. At the last minute before airing, unknown congressmen threatened the TV Cable industry with restrictive legislation if this documentary was aired.
Almost immediately, the rights to the documentary were purchased by unknown persons who had ordered all copies destroyed. A copy of this videotape was furnished anonymously to former Nebraska state senator and attorney John De Camp who made it available to retired F.B.I. chief, Ted L. Gunderson. - The Real Face of the European Union
Thu, 04 Sep 2008 16:14:00 +0000 Author: noreply@blogger.com (Jayo)
The EU has been sold to Europeans as our best hope for the future . . . But behind the scenes, has another, more unsettling agenda been unfolding?
Today's European Union is well on its way to becoming a federal superstate, complete with one currency, one legal system, one military, one police force and even its own national anthem. In this shocking new documentary featuring EU insiders and commentators, independent author Phillip Day covers the history and goals of the European Union, as well as the disturbing, irrevocable implications this new government has for every EU citizen. Whether the viewer is for or against participation, this film asks the troubling questions the mainstream media has refused to confront - Fabled Enemies
Thu, 04 Sep 2008 15:51:00 +0000 Author: noreply@blogger.com (Jayo)
Fabled Enemies by Jason Bermas is the latest film to question the events of September 11th 2001. Instead of the focus being on physical anomolies surrounding the attacks, it focuses on a vast intelligence network and how they were able to succeed almost 7 years ago.
It begins with footage from the morning itself reminding everyone that in the court of public opinion Osama Bin laden was convicted on day 1, there were no other suspects. We then delve into the fact that many of the alleged hijackers were trained at U.S. military facilities, and still others had ties to the FBI. When others within the FBI tried to go after Bin Laden, and his financial supporters there investigations were impeded and shut down.
Able Danger the Black Ops program that identified the hijackers prior to 9/11 had also tried to move the information tot he FBI, but the FBI still was not interested for some reason. Anthony Shaffer who headed up this team later met with Phillip Zelikow, the Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission, to try and pass this information along after the fact. It was then covered up, not included in the report, and Shaffer and his team were gagged and slandered.
The film then explores the mystery of those who were detained on the morning of September 11th. Several vans were stopped that morning containg Israeli citizens, who either seemed to have prior knowledge of the attacks, or had explosives in their vehicle. When investigators started looking into this network it was revealed they did indeed have a classified role in 9/11, and that two companies within the United States may have been helping them gain their intel.
This network's existence is then confirmed by whistle blower Sybyl Edmonds, who came across a international spy ring containing Turks, Israelis, and member's of Pakistani Intelligence. The Pakistani operation was headed by General Mahmoud Ahmed, who had financial ties to the hijackers, and diplomatic ties to the upper echelons of Washington.
After two seperate government investigations into 9/11 you would think that the public would be satisfied with their efforts and conclusions. However we show you how both the Congressional Report and the 9/11 Commission Report were a whitewash and a scam to begin with, and how it was used to manipulate the public into believeing the issue had been dealt with and thouroghly explained.
In reality there were many warnings prior to 9/11, and the US government seemed to be listening, because in the months leading up to 9/11 it had been running drills of hijacked aircraft being flown into buildings. Then on the morning of 9/11 itself drills mirroring the attacks were taking place at the same time as the "real" hijackings happened.
Air Force One and the White House were also reported to have been targets that day, and further evidence presented in the film suggests that there were indeed many other targets that morning, and that our leaders were very aware of this. This information then fell into the memory hole, never to be discussed in a meaningful way again.
Another fact that has fallen below the radar is that the Continuity of Government program or "Shadow Government" was put into power on the morning of 9/11. This program was revamped in the early 80's by none other than George Herbert Walker Bush, the presidents father. It should also come as no surprise that operational centers that carried many of those in charge of the COG program were already in the air that morning as part of the Global Gaurdian exercise that was taking place.
World Trade Center building 7 is then put under the microscope as it was New York City's number one spookhouse and operational center. It not only contained the Office of Emergency Management which all local government was supposed to flock to in the case of such an emergency, but also the largest Secret Service office in the world, the largest CIA base outside of Virginia, and scores of other agencies such as the SEC, the DOD, and the IRS. We take you inside 7 with emergency worker Barry Jennings account of multiple explosions inside the building before either tower had fell.
The case of the anthrax attacks is also explored. Several letters reading "9-11 01" "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" were mailed to members of the media and congress in a successful attempt to strike more fear into the population, while blaming radical Muslims. The anthrax was then analyzed, and despite efforts to cover it up, it was highly weaponized and refined, and was made in one U.S. military facility at Ft. Detrick Maryland.
this is a must see. - The Elephant In The Room

The Elephant in the Room is a documentary following British filmmaker Dean Puckett through his journey into the 9/11 Truth Movement: a global movement of ?conspiracy theorists? who believe that the official explanation about what happened on 9/11 is totally or partially inaccurate.
The filmmakers travel from middle England, across Europe and to New York for the six year anniversary of the attacks, where the film takes one final twist as we are introduced to the 9/11 first responders who are suffering from various grave health difficulties due to the toxic dust that they breathed in trying to help their country during the weeks after this tragic event.
Told with a personal hands on approach that avoids advancing any one position, the film asks the question: are these crazy conspiracy theorists? Or is 9/11 Truth a credible political movement? - No End In Sight
Wed, 03 Sep 2008 02:09:00 +0000 Author: noreply@blogger.com (Jayo)
No End in Sight is a documentary film that focuses on the two year period following the invasion of Iraq in March 2003. The film asserts that serious mistakes made by the Bush administration during that time were the cause of ensuing problems in Iraq, such as the rise of the insurgency, a lack of security and basic utilities for many Iraqis, sectarian violence and, at one point, the risk of complete civil war.
The documentary does initially touch upon other aspects prior to the reconstruction. One mis-assumption that Bush made was that the Shi'ites (forming a 60% majority of the population) would welcome the invaders. However, back in 1991, after the end of the Persian Gulf War, encouraged on by George H. W. Bush, the Shi'ites rebelled hoping to topple Saddam Hussein. However, despite heavy losses from the Gulf War, Hussein's remaining forces crushed the rebellion. The US did not offer any support to the rebels, nor did they stop the Iraqi government troops. Another issue was the number of troops that were to be sent; Donald Rumsfeld estimated that the job would take half of the number of troops that Colin Powell and US Army Generals had requested; Rumsfeld essentially had his way as he enjoyed more administration support than Powell.
To a large extent the film consists of interviews with the people who were involved in the initial Iraqi occupation authority and the ORHA (the Office for Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance, later replaced by the CPA, the Coalition Provisional Authority). Thirty-five people are interviewed, many of them former Bush loyalists who have since become disillusioned by what they experienced at the time. In particular, many of those interviewed claim that the inexperience of the core members of the Bush administration ? and their refusal to seek, acknowledge or accept input from more experienced outsiders ? was at the root of the disastrous occupation effort.
Among those interviewed are
* General Jay Garner, who briefly ran the reconstruction before being replaced by L. Paul Bremer
* Ambassador Barbara Bodine, who was placed in charge of the Baghdad embassy
* Richard Armitage, former deputy secretary of the State Department
* Robert Hutchings, former chairman of the National Intelligence Council
* Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, Colin Powell's former chief of staff
* Col. Paul Hughes, who worked in the ORHA and then the CPA
According to No End in Sight, there were three especially grave mistakes made by L. Paul Bremer, the head of the CPA:
* A move toward "De-Ba'athification" in the early stages of the occupation. Saddam Hussein's ruling Ba'ath Party counted as its members a huge majority of Iraq's governmental employees, including educational officials and some teachers. By order of the CPA, these skilled and often apolitical individuals were banned from holding any positions in Iraq's new government.
* Not providing enough troops to maintain order, so martial law was not established after the country was conquered. The ORHA had identified at least 20 crucial government buildings and cultural sites in Bagdad, but ending up only the oil ministry was guarded. With no police force or national army to maintain order, ministries and buildings were looted for their desks, tables, chairs, phones, and computers. Among these pillaged were Iraqi museums, containing priceless artifacts from some of the earliest human civilizations, which sent chilling signals to the average Iraqi that the American forces did not intend to maintain law and order. The destruction of libraries and records, in combination with the "De-Ba'athification" had ruined the bureaucracy that existed prior to the US invasion. ORHA staff reported that they had to start from scratch to rebuilt the government infrastructure. Rumsfeld initially dismissed the widespread looting as no worse than rioting in a major American city.
* The disbanding of the Iraqi Army, against the advice of the US military, which made 500,000 young men unemployed. The US army had wanted the Iraqi troops retained as they knew the locals and could maintain order, but Bremer refused. Many of them decided that their best chance for a future, many with extended families to support, was to join or, together with the rest of their unit, become a militia force. The huge arms depots were available for pillaging by anyone who wanted weapons and explosives, so the former Iraqi soldiers convereged on the military stockpiles. The US did known about the location of weapon caches but said that they lacked the troops to secure them; ironically these arms would later be used against the Americans and new Iraqi government forces.
The film cites these three mistakes as the primary causes of the rapid deterioration of occupied Iraq into chaos, as the collapse of the government bureaucracy and army resulted in a lack of authority and order. It was the Islamic fundamentalists that moved to fill this void, so their ranks swelled with many disillusioned Iraqi people.
The documentary also notes that during reconstruction, the US shunned Ba'ath officials and relied upon Ahmed Chalabi instead, someone who they later realized could not be trusted. Chalabi was said to have taken advantage of US resources to eliminate political opponents.
One of these interviewed suggested that the main beneficiary of the Iraq invasion was neighbouring Iran. Prior to the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, Iraq and Iran were enemies and so kept each other in check. Indeed, some suggested that Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction were mainly to intimedate Iran, which explained why Saddam was not forthcoming with UN inspectors. Saddam's fall left Iran more powerful in the region. It also did not help that they elected a hardliner who was anti-Western, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who went on to allegedly produce their own weapons of mass destruction - the Earth is growing

Geographical revolution of the world's MOST WELL-KNOWN RELIGIONS: Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam - Fantastic Planet

Fantastic Planet (French: La Planète sauvage, lit. The Savage Planet) an animated 1973 science fiction film directed by René Laloux. The film was an international production between France and Czechoslovakia and has been distributed in the United States by Roger Corman. It won the special jury prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 1973. The story is based on the novel, Oms en Série, by the French writer Stefan Wul.
The film is chiefly noted for its surreal imagery, the work of French writer and artist Roland Topor. The landscape of the Draag planet is full of strange creatures, including a cackling predator which traps small fluttering animals in its cage-like nose, shakes them to death and hurls them to the ground. The Draag practice of meditation, whereby they commune psychically with each other and with different species, is shown in transformations of their shape and colour.
The interaction of science and superstition is most apparent in the Wizard, who resists the knowledge that Terr brings, fearing it will erode the power he maintains. Knowledge trumps ignorance, but in this case only after surviving an attempted assassination.
Terr's drive to share knowledge overpowers the fear of an unknown people. Only his courage to save others not of his adopted tribe allows that tribe to overcome the loss of their leader.
The Draags and Oms finally learn to live in peace and mutual benefit; presumably any groups can if they and their leaders really want to. This may have been a theme favoured by the filmmakers as it was made and released during the Cold War (the source novel was written long before this).
This version has had its soundtrack rescored to idm, and experimental music. Artitsts include: Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Prefuse 73, Mu-Ziq, Freeform, Matmos, Isan, Autechre, Japanese Telecom, Amon Tobin, Plaid, Manitoba, Luke Vibert, Mum, Clue to Kalo, Boom Bip, Kim Hiorthoy, Pole, Mira Calix ... rescoring was done in 2003 by http://everyone.doesntexist.com the tasteful and tasteless abstract; focusing on experimental forms of music.

There are currently over 786 million hungry people on planet Earth. And while few would deny that world hunger is one of the most important issues facing mankind today, if the solution is left to companies like Monsanto, Aventis, Dow, and DuPont, we may face even greater challenges to the security of our global ecosystem.
With the second Green Revolution well under way, the world's food supply is slowly being transformed by a radically improvised agricultural paradigm. Genetically engineered crops have been introduced into the market without the rigorous testing that many scientists feel is required. The history is instructive:
In 1986, U.S. biotech companies began testing the first genetically engineered food products. In 1993, the FDA declared that GM food was "not inherently dangerous," which gave a green light to biotech corporations who had been developing GM seeds. One year later, the first GM food product, Flavr Savr tomato, was released to enthusiastic U.S. consumers.
But in Europe, GM food did not win such easy converts. Groups like Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth protested the new "Frankenfoods," galvanizing public outrage and the eventual policy mandate requiring all modified produce to be clearly labelled.
Despite the highly publicized battle over genetically engineered food, many people are still unaware that many of the products they consume on a daily basis are GM. In Contaminated, Fritjof Capra, Paul Hawken and Vandana Shiva explain the evolution of the new biotech agribusiness and its potential dangers to the sustainability of the global food supply. - What Barry Says...

The story is basically a very simple morality tale about greed, the dangers of greed & exploring nature. It came about when he found some 1950's stickers in a junk shop & thought it would be great to make a film out of them. There were about 200 different stickers. It took about 16 months from the start. He spent about one year for actual making animation and 4 months for pre-production. A 12 year old girl and her aunt were describing how Russian soldiers saved them from the Georgian attack -- but were bizarrely cut off after just two minutes. The incident has sparked huge controversy over the issue of media impartiality, with Russian government officials calling it a violation of journalistic ethics. - Operation Gladio

"Deception is a state of mind and the mind of the State" - James Jesus Angleton, Head of CIA Counter Intelligence 1954-1974
Originally aired on BBC2 in 1992, 'Operation Gladio' reveals 'Gladio', the secret state-sponsored terror network operating in Europe.
This BBC series is about a far-right secret army, operated by the CIA and MI6 through NATO, which killed hundreds of innocent Europeans and attempted to blame the deaths on Baader Meinhof, Red Brigades and other left wing groups. Known as 'stay-behinds' these armies were given access to military equipment which was supposed to be used for sabotage after a Soviet invasion. Instead it was used in massacres across mainland Europe as part of a CIA Strategy of Tension. Gladio killing sprees in Belgium and Italy were carried out for the purpose of frightening the national political classes into adopting U.S. policies.

Sat, 23 Aug 2008 09:46:00 +0000 Author: noreply@blogger.com (Jayo)
Keith Allen discovers an unnerving mixture of hatred, fanaticism and fun when he investigates one of the USA?s most extreme fundamentalist churches.
The members of Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas, which preaches that every word in the Bible is literally true, are some of America's most fanatical Christian fundamentalists. Bearing ?God Hates Fags? and ?God Hates America? placards, they cheerfully picket the funerals of US soldiers killed in Iraq, and delight in provoking outrage among both liberals and patriots.
Programme-makers in America and Britain have repeatedly tried to expose their beliefs as anti-Christian, but these attempts have failed. In Channel 4?s investigation, Keith Allen takes a smarter, more streetwise approach. During three extraordinary days at Westboro, Keith reveals more about the church than other television programmes have unearthed in three months.
In interviews that are hilarious, infuriating and compelling, he forensically exposes the curious mixture of hatred and jollity that underpins their faith. Using all his journalistic skills and instincts, he scavenges for information in local bars and discovers a secret about the church's chief spokesperson, Shirley Phelps-Roper. Shirley confesses her ?sin? on camera, making a memorable climax to a programme that exposes the hypocrisy of this bizarre, fundamentalist sect. - Amen Break

This sample was used extensively in early hiphop and sample-based music, and became the basis for drum-and-bass and jungle music -- a six-second clip that spawned several entire subcultures. Nate Harrison's 2004 video is a meditation on the ownership of culture, the nature of art and creativity, and the history of a remarkable music clip. - D?y? Dünyay? Kurtaran Adam (The Man Who Saves the World) is a Turkish-made cult film commonly known as Turkish Star Wars because of its notorious bootlegging of Star Wars clips worked into the film.
Dünyay? Kurtaran Adam was released in 1982 in the midst of massive political upheaval. As a result, American-made films weren't easily acquired and were often remade with a Turkish cast and setting. The four most notable films to be so bootlegged are Star Wars, The Wizard of Oz, The Exorcist and E.T., all of which have Turkish variations. - Truth Rising

A chronicle of the abuse of power and of the manufacture of state-sponsored medical propaganda, The Fluoride Deception reveals how military and industry scientists and public health officials buried information about fluoride's potential for human harm, while promoting its use in dentistry.
The Fluoride Deception reveals that fluoride pollution was the greatest legal threat facing the wartime Manhattan Project, it documents how a secretive group of powerful industries, who all faced extensive litigation for flouride pollution, collaborated with the Institute of Dental Research to launder flouride's image. We'll meet the dissident scientists who warned us about fluoride from the beginning. We'll sit with the famous doctor who'd alerted America in the 1950's to the dangers of cigarette smoking, who reported that fluoride was a systemic poison, with tens of thousands of citizens uniquely sensitive to even tiny doses. We'll walk the cobbled streets of Donora, Pennsylvania, in the shrouded aftermath of the nation's most notorious air pollution disaster in 1948, and meet the scientist who blamed -fluoride for the deaths.
Today, that scientist joins a growing number of health experts who call fluoride a venomous and hydra-headed poison. They suspect its involvement in a host of modern illnesses, including arthritis, bone cancer, and emphysema, and a spectrum of central nervous system disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and the epidemic of attention deficit disorder sweeping America's children.

Philosopher and author Alain de Botton believes there's something the vast majority of people desire even more than money. Whatever their background or social class, whatever their age or country of origin, what they desperately crave is status.
In this two-hour programme, as well as testing his theory in Britain, De Botton travels to the United States, to investigate status anxiety, asking why people are unable to curtail their painful aspirations and whether those at the bottom of society merit their position there as much as those at the top do theirs.
As well as examining the work of classical philosophers, de Botton develops his theory with the help of a Washington DC restaurant manager who considers himself destined to become a chat show host; motivational speaker Les Brown; homeless lady Jenny Lamont; and members of the Native American population.
De Botton's search for possible cures to status anxiety takes him to churches on both sides of the Atlantic; the bohemian world of punks, nudists and hippies who live by their own rules; and philosophers - such as Schopenhauer - who believe that other people's opinions are not always worthwhile.
Finally, he learns how a discovery of one's mortality can suddenly put the constitute elements of status, such as careers, possessions, appearance and fame, into perspective.
